ITNation is currently seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Editor for its Brand (TBA).

The Assistant Editor, under the direction of the Group Editor/Editor, shall be responsible for managing the content published under the brand. His/her duties will include overseeing and assisting the editorial team with the procurement, editing and writing of articles and attendance at editorial meetings and directing events.
He/she shall have a significant say in the overall running and development of the brand, with particular regard to editorial direction, community interaction (virtual and event-based), brand experience, product and design evolution etc.

The candidate must have strong writing, editing, networking and public speaking skills and the capacity to develop ideas for articles and events that will help establish the brand. Specifically the role includes directing content creation for the Website, Events and Microsites as well as creating event concepts and driving events editorially.

The ideal candidate will be someone with the flair to generate ideas for sharp and interesting articles and the tenacity and confidence to secure and conduct interviews with onsite and offsite speakers.
